Verse 13

"If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised."

Basics. People live. People die.

But that's not the end.

That doesn't mean people go into the clouds or have wings or float forever as spirits.

What the Bible teaches is resurrection. That people have eternities, but that eternity is in a body not in a white gown with a halo.

And Paul is getting into that idea here. Christ was resurrected into a physical body (without wings) and so too will believers. The resurrection is a real event both in the past (of Christ) and the future (of Christ's followers).

The more we understand that which is to come, the more we will live this life with right priorities and mindsets.

So let's pursue it.
