*For the past 5-ish years I have written poetry that I've sworn would never see the light of day. It's a meaningful practice for me. The art of language opens my brain to think in a new (better?) way. I don't make any effort to promote this blog and since I stopped using Facebook its readership is down at least 80%, so this feels like a safe space to "be brave" and share some of these words. I share these not for any accolade, but because I think putting it on the record makes it a little more real.
